  • Improves blood pressure

  • Lessens muscle tension, chronic pain and inflammation

  • Improves sense of well-being

I was dealing with really persistent and intense anxiety. 4 weeks later I am in a much better place with less anxiousness. I feel like this helped in dealing with “both sides of the coin” in the physical and mental aspects of well-being and how they are related.

Clients who get the BEST results…

  • Schedule all your sessions in the first 30 days

We recommend trauma release be practiced 2-3 times per week to start in order to really begin the reconnection process. When you wait too long between sessions it’s like starting over from scratch every time.

  • Stay open and curious

We all have ideas about what got us to this point. They may or may not be what the body believes. This is an opportunity to let your body speak in it’s language and allow yourself to listen without any expectation or judgement.

  • Make it your own

Part of the trauma release process is creating and adopting your own practice that you can integrate into your life. Trauma release works best when you use it 2-3 times a week as part of a consistent stress recovery practice.

For me, trauma (stress) release exercise is a way to safely and acceptingly release the stress that my body is holding. After my session I feel relaxed and calm. It’s harder to find that voice in my head who causes worry or stress. It’s almost as if it’s not there at all.

Kinetic Grace

Resilience

5 session Private trauma release guidance

Your package includes a 30 minute free assessment call before we schedule your sessions to get to know each other and go over your application and paperwork.

Ideally we meet in person, however in the current climate it may be necessary to meet online. If that’s the case you will have the option to record your sessions for your use in the future.

Each of the 5 sessions runs 60-90 minutes but sometimes as long as 2 hours. This is your time. Your process is personal and as individual and unique as you are. Every experience is different.

Observation without judgement

You’ll learn how to stay grounded and present in your body, becoming aware of and noticing your own stress level without getting lost in it, mentally, physically and emotionally. You’ll learn to follow the breath and begin to listen to the body.

Confidence and connection

You’ll learn how to access and control your natural tremor mechanism, multiple skills to send messages of safety to your primitive brain. Practice moving in and out of rest in ways the body understands to replace habitual reactions to stress.

Body Expert

You’ll learn to trust your body again with a new understanding of what works for you and what doesn’t. Trauma release invites you to step back into the driver’s seat and become the expert, relearning to trust the messages that your body sends you to re-establish a friendly internal relationship.

You deserve all of this and more…

  • Release

The tremor mechanism releases long held physical, emotional and mental tension. Chronic stress creates chronic muscle activation in response to any threat. Sometimes that threat is clear and present, other times just perception is enough to move from protection to presence.

  • Reconnect

Chronic stress, tension or trauma can overwhelm your natural ability to return to a calm and relaxed state. Living in a chronically activated state can sever our connection with the body. The tremor mechanism integrated with present moment awareness in yoga helps to heal that disconnect.

  • Reclaim

Stress, anxiety, depression, panic attacks…all these and more begin as sensations in the body. Trauma release exercise integrated with yoga uses the body’s natural connection and breath to calm the nervous system from the inside out. Accessing the nervous system through the body give you back control.

  • Relearn

As mammals we are born with an awareness of how to safely discharge the energy of traumatic events. Accessing the natural tremor response with intention and mindful awareness teaches us control and confidence. Each class you’ll be encouraged to cultivate your own curiosity to empower your process.

  • Reset

Working through the body, using movement, breath and the tremor mechanism, you can communicate directly to the most primitive parts of your brain that you are safe. This switches off your stress response and switches on your rest and relaxation state in your nervous system.

  • Restore

Returning the body to it’s safe and social state allows all of your body’s systems to heal. A regular practice of purposefully returning to safety builds not just a sense of well being but also of agency and resilience. Trauma release integrated yoga practice is a powerful tool for a lifetime of resilience.

Have we met yet?

My name is Ericka and I’ve made it my mission to help overwhelmed, stressed out people like you rediscover their resilience through the body’s natural stress defense mechanisms.

Ericka is a fantastic teacher, always checking in and making sure we are doing okay. She helped me a lot when trying to navigate the positions and when trying to figure out the right effort level for me and helping to make sure I am taking breaks and resting. I would recommend TRE to everyone! I have a goal to be able to practice it on my own once a week.
